Top Shares of Industrial conglomerates (Industrial) DAX

Conglomerates are usually large companies that encompass a lot of work, which is quite common for those businesses in the same region in order to encourage sustainable growth. The union seeks to reach new markets and take advantage of the resources that each other possesses.

The companies that join a conglomerate seek simple goals such as increasing productivity, encouraging innovation in the field, reducing opportunistic and unfair behavior, generating greater pressure as there is a connection between the companies and possible creations of future companies.

There are several types of conglomerates:

- The geographical conglomerate is one in which the companies are located in the same area or country.

- The sectorial conglomerate is one in which the majority of the companies operate in the same commercial sector.

- The horizontal conglomerate is one in which the companies are at the same level and their priority is to share resources.

- The vertical conglomerate could be summarized in companies that form a supply and manufacturing chain.

Forming an industrial conglomerate is not an easy task, it usually takes years of negotiation and not all of them are formed because external agents such as politics, culture, society or the economy vary from the beginning of the process until its dissolution.

If a conglomerate is finally created, companies can benefit from actions such as the acquisition of raw materials in better conditions, added value to the brand, greater pressure in negotiations, access to new markets, survival in the event of weak periods...

Today conglomerates have a lot of business strength due to the union that exists between companies and that can help them in their production process and obtain better sales results than competing companies that do not belong to one.
