The extraction of metals is an activity of the primary sector that allows us to manufacture and enjoy minerals and precious metals in many objects, technology, medicine, energy, textiles... This implies that many people live by and to find most of these scarce goods on the planet. Once located, the companies carry out excavations to extract as much as possible and be able to market with it.

The mining industry has had great growth in the last century and people are still interested in continuing to exploit these goods that we can find on earth because, without them, we would no longer be able to manufacture many devices that we use in our day to day lives.

When extracting these minerals there are two methods. The best known (since it has appeared in more movies) is the underground method that consists of creating tunnels in the subsoil from which the minerals of the stone are extracted. The second is the open pit method, which consists of removing plants and vegetation from the surface to excavate layer by layer and find the desired minerals.
