Natural gas is one of the most widely used energy sources today in different areas of society. Most of its use is intended for the industry that uses it on a daily basis to be able to carry out their routine tasks. In these industries, natural gas is used mainly for industrial furnaces that are used to treat metals, bricks, glass, ceramics and other raw materials. It is also used for boilers that generate hot water and steam, widely used in the food sector. To a lesser extent, natural gas is also used as a raw material without the priority being heat generation, but rather the production of hydrogen, ethylene and methanol.

The next place where natural gas is used the most is homes. We could say that gas is necessary in houses to be able to achieve the temperature we want in different applications.

- Heating: It depends on the city in which you live, heating is more or less necessary because the temperature of a specific place depends on many factors, but on the coldest days of winter, in almost all homes it is necessary turn on the heating to be comfortable at home.

- Hot water: There are many benefits of showering with cold water, but to be honest, washing yourself with cold water in winter can be one of the most uncomfortable and painful things on a day-to-day basis. Thanks to gas, humans can enjoy hot water at home and thus carry out our personal hygiene in a much more satisfactory way.

- Cooking: Increasingly, many people have an electric ceramic hob at home to prepare food, but gas stoves have some advantages and that is why a certain amount of the population prefers them: it is easier to regulate the heat to achieve the desired effect in the food, they consume less energy so they spend less and it is not necessary to wait for the resistance to take temperature since it emits heat from the first moment.
