Top Shares of Office supplies (Non-cyclical consumption) London Stock Exchange

Society has undergone many changes throughout history. The way in which people have related and have survived has not been the same since, unlike animals, we have the ability to learn and think reasonably, which has helped us to progress.

In prehistoric times, people already had enough to do with hunting animals to be able to eat and have shelter. As time passed, we learned new hunting and farming techniques so it took less time to get the amount of food needed and that allowed people to start developing new interests such as science, art, leisure... .

Thus, new trades arose that did not have much to do with the survival of the human being and more with obtaining wealth and power. With the Industrial Revolution, the work focused on creating that new system full of machines that make the most basic tasks such as cultivation and livestock easier. People mostly worked in factories that still exist today, but now compete with a new, more avant-garde business model: the office.

Offices are a key element in the economy of developed countries due to the large number of companies that we can find today. All those offices need quite specific material without which it would be very difficult to work: sheets of paper, folders, desks, chairs, pens, stamps... It should also be noted that, since the 2020 pandemic, many people have been forced to work from home , which meant a change in mentality regarding teleworking.

People and families had to adapt rooms or small corners so that they could carry out their work from home without having to go outside (since it was prohibited). Once the pandemic ended, many people preferred telecommuting because, if you are lucky enough to have a quiet space for yourself, you save travel time, gasoline, specific work clothes and other advantages. Very few companies allowed telecommuting to be every day of the week, but they did allow their workers to carry out their tasks from home a couple of days a week.

This means that office supplies are currently in high demand and that it would be advisable to assess the possibility of investing in one of these companies dedicated to this sector through the purchase of shares.
