We find the evolution of communication from the paintings embodied in the stone of a cave, to the present moment when we have millions of ways to communicate and share information, without a doubt, in a clearer and more effective way than cave paintings. . Since that time, thousands of years ago, until the present moment, we have gone through multiple mechanisms and tools, all with the aim of achieving a more fluid and faster communication.
We have trained carrier pigeons, smoke signals so that they can be seen in the distance, letters sent by delivery men, light and sound codes such as the well-known Morse Code, which consists of assigning dots and dashes to each letter and number, phone calls, SMS (which, to a certain extent, since the company charged more if you exceeded the number of characters, were also slightly encrypted messages) and now we have taken it a step further: video calls.
The arrival of the Internet in our lives, came hand in hand with the revolution when it came to communicating between people. We stopped planning a message carefully, since we had a short space to express everything we wanted to convey and many times, at a cost, and now we have moved on to the possibility of sending and receiving infinite messages through thousands of different channels, in many formats different and all at a fixed cost (you pay the same for a message as millions). In addition, we no longer only have the option of transmitting a simple message, but we can also send images, videos, web pages, stickers...
One of the most effective and most popular ways today are video calls. With them you have the possibility of seeing the person with whom you are having a conversation, as if they were on the other side of the table where you are sitting. Without a doubt, a technological advance for society. This allows us to have work meetings remotely, make friends meet to chat and tell each other about our lives, or simply play games from home.
