If we had to define today's society with an object, it would be the computer. Of different sizes, formats, qualities and capacities, but current technology is based on the operation of computers, hardware and software. No matter what job a person does, how old they are, or what their hobbies are, surely at some time in their life they have had to use a computer (directly or indirectly).
After the arrival of the Internet, the digital revolution became a reality and today many systems and operations of companies, entities and people depend on computers with which we record data, create images, analyze competition...
One of the keys to the success of computers is their ease of use. Even though it is one of the most difficult machines to produce (something that is impossible without prior knowledge), people can use it without much complication thanks to programming and software.
Through letters and symbols, the computer communicates with us and we with the computer. The same happens with mobile phones and tablets, prepared so that the user has a comfortable experience and does not have to carry out specific studies to be able to fully function.
The computer and electronic devices are made up of two parts:
- The hardware: These are the physical parts that make up a device such as the hard drive, the screen, the keyboard, speakers, graphics cards... we could say that this is the visible part of the devices (although many are hidden in its interior).
- The software: It is the set of programs with which we carry out the specific tasks and that, after all, are the reason for using the device. It would be useless to have incredible hardware if the necessary programs are not found inside.
Here you can find a list of the most outstanding companies in the software and programming industry in which, through the purchase of shares, investments can be made.
