The means of transport are one of the most necessary services that we currently find. Due to globalization, today people can buy products from a distant country, so far away that it can be on another continent.

To cross the ocean or seas, there are two types of transport that offer us this possibility: planes and ships. Both means have their advantages over the other and therefore it depends on each situation, one option or another will be better.

Advantages and disadvantages of traveling by plane compared to the boat: Planes are much faster, so they are the ideal transport if you need to travel for business or to a specific city, without the intention of enjoying the trip. The big problem with traveling by plane is that, due to its speed, you can reach different parts of the world in just a few hours and find yourself having to have breakfast twice because of the time difference between one country and another (the known jet lag). Another of the greatest advantages of traveling by plane is that it is the safest means of transport, although paradoxically, many people are afraid to embark on one.

Advantages and disadvantages of traveling by ship compared to the plane: One of the things that can cause more laziness and anguish when flying by plane is the controls that are carried out to board one. Many people dread that moment when they carry out random drug checks, search luggage, liquids have to go in small containers and if they don't throw them away... there are many things to keep in mind that traveling by ship does not happen since the transit is much easier. If you are not in a hurry to make the trip, the ship allows you to meet people on board and make several stops to see different cities that are also usually in the same port (not like the airport that is usually on the outskirts of the city).

In addition to large cruise ships, there are also other types of boats that circulate in a smaller space: river boats. The difference between one and the other is where they run. While the ships circulate in the sea and oceans, the fluvial ones cross rivers, lakes and other aquatic places within the continents.

As we have mentioned before, it depends on what type of trip you are going to make, one option or another is better and you also have to take into account other factors such as ease of dizziness, pregnancies, fears...
